"Life seems but a quick succession of busy nothings," I quote Jane Austen, and sigh. This weekend, like most of the past couple, is going to be busy for Team Hensley!
We will be donning our blue, and cheering on our favorite soccer star, Stephen. His football club, Leceister City, plays Watford. Last weekend he blasted 5 goals & 2 assists, and he had a ball. We are hoping for similar results. (Thank goodness Carson's baseball team doesn't play on weekends). Follow Team Leceister here.
Saturday will be full of sparkles and smiles. Nataleigh competes for the title of Little Miss Johnson City. She loves glamming (wearing 'yip gloss' & curling her hair) & hamming it up on stage.
Joe will be preaching at Hickory Tree Union Church Sunday morning, and then after church, we will be dividing & conquering. Stephen's soccer team has their last regular-season game in Johnson City, & Nataleigh is competing in the Relay For Life pageant in Elizabethton. This pageant is going to be so much fun. She is honoring 4 very important women in her life; breast cancer survivors, Cindy Hill, Lois Melton, & Megan Shelton. The 4th woman is her great grandmother, Katherine Sales, who fought & battled lung cancer. Support your local Relays for Life. Finally, Sunday night we all will crowd on the couch to enjoy WWE Payback 2016. A fun little tidbit about our family is that we are wrestling obsessed. Before every PPV event, we make our picks of who we think will win each match. My boys LOVE this little family tradition. #easylikesundaymorning
We hope you all will enjoy spending some time with loved ones this weekend.
