Summer Fun 2015

Do you ever find yourself scrolling through your photo album on your phone, and just catch yourself smiling?! I do often. Photos trigger so many different emotions from me. I love snapping shots every day as well as investing in quality photos as keepsakes for myself. My favorite gifts that I've ever given myself involve pictures of my favorite people. While scrolling through my photo album I got stuck in a series of photos from last summer during our family vacation. This was the middle of some of the worst times of my life, and yet, I still see so much happiness and love in these pictures. I want to take a few minutes and share some of those pictures that brought back some happy memories.

 Edisto Beach, SC 2015:

We left on the 4th of July, so we happily donned our red, white, and blue while traveling!
#BeachHairDontCare
The kids and I went with my parents, Nana & Pops, and it was truly such a fun trip full of perfectly-timed pictures!
 We biked daily.
Some days, we biked multiple times throughout the day!
We dressed ourselves on evening walks.
to see the turtle nests!!
We explored Charleston, SC. I just love this Southern City!
 Ate at Poogan's Porch
Perfect Charleston attire. Seersucker bubble with a big, white bow.
 The Angel Tree...AMAZING
We explored barefoot, in the rain, because..why not?!
My most favorite picture ever!!!!
 We beached all day
& just relaxed all evening.
All in all, even though most of my memories from Summer 2015 are terrible, I am so thankful that God allowed such a wonderful trip for me and my kids. This trip was a tremendous blessing, and it was so needed during the turmoil of life back home. God poured so into me during that week. I watched my kids laugh and love so freely. I watched them standing on a boogey board singing, "Believer" by Audio Adrenaline over & over & over. I remember thinking that even though I couldn't see a way out of my current struggles that I knew that God had a beautifully designed plan for my family. He always, always out-does Himself. So this year when I think of last summer, I want my memories to stay in Edisto...when life was happy!
