This weekend was simply amazing. From parades to birthday bashes, we had ourselves one heck of a weekend! Here's what happened...

As I mentioned Friday, my boy turned 7, so this day was all about him. He wanted hamburgers, hot dogs, & funfetti cupcakes, so we went to the grocery store.
Mom & Dad kicked butt with this gift!
My child is obsessed with these mini-buggies...my ankles lived in constant fear.
Cupcakes with his fave color!
Then we had some Pie-face fun!
& ended with a lively game of LIFE!
(Or basically, Carson's birthday #2)
But first a parade!

Jonesborough Days Independence Parade rocked!
Mall detour for cookie cake required us to check out the sale @ Charming Charlies!
This maxi was $12 #steal
Nat is kinda in love with Carson's friend Cooper!

While we were dropping Carson's friend Cooper off at home, the boys snuck and jumped in their pool...fully clothed!! Boys will be boys, or so I've been told. They had a blast night-swimming while the moms and dads enjoyed chit-chatting. They are such nice, fun people who love on my babies so much! We are so blessed!
Sunday I took very few pictures because we were too busy having fun! Joe preached @ Hunter Memorial Baptist Church, and then we caught up with friends and their kiddos all evening. We let the boys, big & little, set off fireworks, and it was so much fun! They put on quite the show for their mamas!
We loved celebrating Independence Day!

Bouncy house fun in the backyard while we grilled burgers, kabobs, and tuna steaks.
I shared this picture, but it is Nat's new favorite dress. It's from Ralph Lauren, and it's perfectly patriotic, comfy, and darling all wrapped into one dress. I just love the casualness and simplicity that is still so classically beautiful!
Our weekend was wild, fun, and full of laughs...just as every weekend should be during summer holiday!
