Let's Talk: Fall Favorites

Today we are linking up with Andrea from Momfessionals & Erika from A Little Bit of Everything for their monthly chit chat session. Today is all about one of my absolute favorite things...

FALL!

Fall Fashion

I am so in love with Fall fashion!
Is there anything better than boots, leggings, and over-sized sweats?!
NEGATIVE
There's just really something so perfect about Fall fashions that it deserves our full attention!
I love, love, love chambray, and it really transitions well from summer to Fall. I love pairing my chambray pieces with white denim in the summer, and then layered with plaid scarves and black jeans in the Fall. I'm planning this exact outfit for this Fall paired with.....
These booties! I ordered booties from Just Fab last year, and it was a life-changing moment for me! I adore the booties so much that I cannot wait to get another pair.
Maybe these!!
or these.
I'm really loving the wine color for the Fall. They are the perfect pop of color for most Fall outfits.

I have similar pieces to this outfit, and it will be an outfit I happily replicate.
I'm already obsessed with my Hunter boots that my sweetheart got me last Fall, so finding cute outfit inspiration is a win-win!
As soon as football season starts, my wardrobe consists of even more orange than the average person. Isn't this the cutest, most preppy sweater ever?!

I finally made the leap onto the bandwagon & purchased this blanket scarf from Born 2 Be Sassy. I added my monogram because in the South if it ain't moving it gets a monogram!
Can I get a witness?!

Kids Fashion

Fall is not only my favorite fashion season for myself but also for the kids. I'm a firm believer in layering at all ages.
Here are a few of my favorite looks from last Fall!
 Plaid perfection!
Matilda Jane plus Old Navy boots!
I mentioned earlier that I love orange...at all ages, at all times!
Denim jackets with plenty of layering!
I loved these camel pants that Stephen had last year..obviously a lot. They were our compromise. They were more like jeans than khakis, so they were 'less dressy!' Fights were avoided. Seriously though, I'll probably be running to Old Navy soon to stock up on these for both boys! (even though they hate matching)

The Food

There is just something extra special about the food in the Fall. The Hensleys enjoy chili at least once a week. Does it get any better than a big bowl of chili during a UT football game?! And the crock pot meals are so much more divine during the fall. Chilis, soups, etc. my crock pots get fully used during the Fall! Also, how great is almost anything if you add pumpkin. I'm basic in the sense that I love #PSL, and as soon as it's in Starbucks, I'm so good to go!

The Fun

Friday Night Football is a pretty big deal here in Tennessee, but more importantly Saturday in the South is a whole different level of intense! I love my Vols. I need my orange. I sing my Rocky Top, and most Falls I cry in disappointment. I will always bleed orange though.
I'm not gonna lie, besides my family & my relationship with Christ, football is a close third on my list of most important things....ever!
Also, I just love how the cooler temps & cozier clothes encourage snuggles and staying home more.
I found this adorable bucket list on Pinterest, and I'm printing it off asap!

We are wishing you and your family the absolute best of Falls ever!
Happy Fall, y'all!!

xoxo
-Britt
