Today we are rewinding our weekend just a day later than normal!
It was another busy, but fun weekend for the books. Those kind of weekends remind me just how blessed I am though!
The boys had school, and I had practice like normally. I stopped by our local grocery store to buy stuff to cook for dinners! Our local grocery store has the best specialty burgers ever, and right now they have UT/Virginia Tech burgers. As a Vol fan, it pains me to even consider it, but I love the Virginia Tech burgers a little better just because they don't have big pieces of onions in them like the UT burgers.
Stuffed with bacon, ham & gouda they are so yummy!
Mama grills like a champ!!!
I make my corn on the cob on the grill too, and it is the simplest, tastiest corn ever. Slather your corn with butter, wrap in foil, and turn occasionally on the grill while your burgers cook! It is the easiest & most requested veggie I fix!
I shared this on Twitter (britthensley), and I just thought about how many people I know struggling with their marriages. Hold tight, and fight the good fight for His glory!
I know I've shared it before, but our volleyball season is intense! We hosted the Thrill on the Hill JV/Freshman tournament! My girls played so well, and I am so proud of them. We didn't get the overall win, but we fought hard!
A lot of volleyball in a few hours!
I rushed home with pizza from Papa Johns and happily snuggled with my babies while watching Elena of Avalor. Well Nat & I watched Elena while the boys hung out on their iPads! We are obsessed with Elena, and we dvr the new episodes! (Thank you technology!)
Shew....what a busy day!!
We celebrated Homecoming @ Hickory Tree Union Church, and we were so blessed by the music and the message! I love our church!
Counting my blessings!!
A certain mommy happily twinned with her little girl!
Matilda Jane & all!
After church, we met Nana for the best brunch ever at one of our favorite local restaurants; Cafe 111
Silly pictures in the bathroom because brunchin' ain't easy!
Then we snuck and saw baby Eli for a bit! This is my cousin's beautiful baby that is just the sweetest thing ever. They live just outside of Nashville, and my schedule has been so crazy that I haven't had the chance to catch up with them. Lu & I are 11 months apart, so we grew up more like sisters than cousins. I just love her and her sweet family!
Nana, Nat, and I headed to Greenville for the Miss Greene County pageant. We had a few girls that we love so much competing, so we had to go cheer!
Be still my heart!
We have quite a strong sisterhood within our pageant family!
Nataleigh & Emalee
Emma & Nat
Rhyne, Emma, Nat, & Camryn!
That's a whole lot of sparkle!!
Congrats to Hannah Everhart for her win tonight! She is going to be a fierce Miss Greene County 2017. Princess Whitney rocked that stage too, and her Nataleigh was so proud of her!
That hug was worth a million bucks to my sweet girl! Whitney, you are her role model, and she loves you so very much! She cannot wait to cheer you on again soon!
