What's Up Wednesday...

Today we're linking up with our blogging buddies MelShay, & Sheafer for their monthly link-up a week early!!
Here are the questions we are answering today....

What We're Eating This Week

It's Thanksgiving week, and I couldn't be more excited!
We are traveling to Asheville Thursday to spend time with the Hensley-Sales-Morrow bunch, and I cannot wait! I love our family.

I'm actually pre-gaming Thanksgiving with a slice of apple pie from one of Joe's basketball parents!!
Oh yummo!

What I'm Reminiscing About

Last weekend!
I shared HERE all about our fun weekend.
It was just full of sweet memories made with precious friends & family!

I just cannot stop looking at these proofs from the professional photographer!
So much sass in such a little girl!

What I'm Loving

Those Obama-Biden memes...anyone else?!

I just can't stop looking & laughing at these!!

What We've Been Up To

A whole lotta stuff!
Between pageants, basketball, and the holidays, we are kinda busy, but it's so much fun!
& we are kind of excited about being on Thanksgiving Break!!

What I'm Dreading

Fitting in my skinny jeans after this weekend...HA!!
Can I get a witness?!

What I'm Working On

Christmas lists, Christmas lists, and Christmas lists!
Santa never sleeps.
I shared this on SnapChat [britthensley] last week, and it was about 11:00 at night when I rolled up in Wal-Mart!
Thankfully the boys aren't asking for a lot, but Nat's list just keeps growing!

What I'm Excited About

So much!
This time of the year is just the best, especially with small kids. They are all at the ages where everyone believes in the magic of Christmas, and I could just eat them up! I need them to stay this size for a couple of years.
How true is this?!
Christmas is definitely a favorite around the Hensley house!

What I'm Watching/Reading

Right now, I'm scrolling through Black Friday ads...just in case!
This is my go-to site for Black Friday deals. I'm not necessarily needing any door-busters, but it's so much fun getting out with the crowds. Let's just remember our manners this year, shoppers. "Please" & "Thank You" go a long way, especially when you deal with those employees working!

What I'm Listening To

Right now, I'm working on this blog while I "listen/watch" The Curse of Oak Island. This is my favorite show right now. Treasure caves, Masons, pirates, oh my! I sure hope Rick & Marty Lagina find something!!
But the kiddos and I are still on a big TROLLS kick, so we are still jamming to...
& this...
...& mama's favorite!

What I'm Wearing

I feel like a broken record, but this dress!!
{all the heart eyes}
I wore this to the pageant this weekend, and I got so many dang compliments. It's just so flattering, and honestly my favorite purchase in a long time!

What I'm Doing This Weekend

Shopping & cheering those Vikings on big time!
We are sneaking away to Knoxville for a night because the team is playing in a tournament in Knoxville. I mean, my favorite people in my favorite city on one of my favorite holiday weekends!!
Good Ole Rocky Top...whoooo!

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month

Last Christmas as the Hensley 4
36+ weeks pregnant on Christmas, and I happily wore a fully sequined skirt with my high heels..& that bump!
These boys love making a wrapping paper mess!
 My very own Christmas doll
 eeeek...cuteness overload!
They had no clue how funny their shirts were!
 Minnie-loving baby!
Christmas 2015
I cannot wait to add to these precious memories!!

What Else Is New

Our love for all things Disney is deep here, and Nat is a big, huge, mega Sophia & Elena fan. Disney rocked her world this week when they showed how Sophia freed Elena from the Amulet of Avalor, and we have watched this a couple of times already.
Also, today Joe planned a big day for the kiddos starting with a movie day.
Y'all this was the man who thought going to the movies was such a waste, and now he's hooked. The kiddos have no clue, but we are going to see...
I'm freaking out a little myself!

What Is Your Favorite Thanksgiving Tradition

Honestly the food.
I'm such a wannabe foodie, but I'm such a picky eater. The one table I can always find too much to enjoy is my mother-in-law's dessert table. She always fixes the tastiest desserts, and we instantly bonded over our mutual adoration of desserts!
Another favorite tradition is the Sales-Hensley family photo. We always end up begging at least one member to just get in the picture, and one member of the family (ahem..Alan) never obliges us with a picture!

Happy Thanksgiving, y'all.
Spend it loving those sweet, yet crazy people you call famILY!!

  1. Love your boys Griswold tees! So cute! I love Oak Island, it's local history for me and I think it's so cool it's become an international interest!
