Quote Board

Well, it's ole Joe here.  I am attempting, barely, to give Britt a day break from the blog.  She works so hard on this blog that she needs a break.  (Don't get used to it Britt, because viewership goes WAY down when I post!)

As some of you know, I am a quote collector.  Anytime I see a great quote, I write it down and keep it in my phone.  I want to share some of the quotes I have read recently.  I do this to hopefully motivate you and also make you think about the level of effort you give each and every day.  No matter what you do, it should be your goal to give your best effort.  So, here we go...

"Strength is the product of struggle.  You must do what others don't to achieve what others won't."

"Are the habits you have today on par with the dreams you have for tomorrow?" - Alan Stein

"You'll find a way, or you'll find an excuse."

"I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it." - Art Williams

"I am not remotely interested in just being good." - Vince Lombardi

"Do you remember that person that gave up?  No, because no one does."

"Focus on the two things you can control, your attitude and your effort."

"The pain of discipline isn't as bad as the pain of regret." - Brad Stevens

"How you see your problem may actually be the problem." - Buzz Williams

"When will your desire become stronger than your strongest excuse?" - Mike Mays

  1. Great collection of quotes! Our Superintendent sends out three or four quotes each week about effort and attitude and I love getting those e-mails. I love the quote about remembering the person who gave up. Have a great Thursday Britt and Joe!
