Show & Tell Tuesday: Grown Up Parties

It's Show & Tell Tuesday, and today I'm linking up with Andrea to share a little about Grown-Up Parties!
Here are some upcoming topics if you want to join us!
A few weeks ago we shared about kids' parties HERE!
A couple of my favorite grown-up parties I haven't actually thrown, but I'm hoping to throw some like these soon with our friends!

--Painting Parties--

My sweet friend Amanda hosted a painting party for some of her friends last year, and it was so much fun!
We painted. We gabbed. We just had way too much fun!
Masterpiece Mixers  made this so much fun, and my friend Amanda {seated to the left of me with the red canvas} was such an awesome hostess. I'm hoping to get some girl friends together for another great night painting!

--Friendsgiving--

Y'all!!
This is where it is at!!
My friend Sarah has hosted us and several of her other friends for a Thanksgiving-inspired get-together, and it is just a FUN night spent laughing. It's so much fun that photos aren't taken because we are literally just having a blast. She does a couple of things so well when hosting this that I felt they needed sharing.
  1. She hires a babysitter. We all have mostly small kids, and we want to enjoy the night too. She hires a sitter, buys the kids pizza, and lets them just enjoy playing together all night!
  2. She & her hubby provide the meats, and the rest of the guests bring the sides.
  3. She sets up tables throughout her house, so there is plenty of seating.
  4. She sends out the cutest e-cards, so she knows exactly who all is coming.
These are some examples of Friendsgiving cards..
 That buffalo check though!!
So cute & simple!

I'm hoping to host a similar Fall Feast this Fall for our friends too.

I cannot wait to check out some fellow blogger's fun grown-up party ideas, and please leave a comment to let me know what I'm missing!

Happy Tuesday

    1. The babysitter made it so nice because we didn't have to worry @ all about our kids, and we could actually enjoy the evening!
