Friday Favorites 6.23.2017 {B Edition}

It's Fri-YAY, and it's officially 'dead week' period for the Science Hill Volleyball team. This means that we will have zero contact or practices with any of the girls until July 10, and my family & I are so happy to be 'off' for a few weeks. We have a lot of fun and busyness planned in those couple of weeks, and we cannot wait.

While I was creating my list of favorites for this week, I noticed that there was one major similarity to all the things...they all started with the letter B!! As a PW {preacher's wife}, we love us some alliteration, so let's get right into it!

This is an every day favorite for my favorite girl. She's been a brand rep for a couple of months now, and she looks forward to that monthly box from One Stop Bow Shop!
Casey and her crew create the most beautiful accessories, and y'all really, really need to check them out!

Current Favorites are the made-to-match Matilda Jane bows!!
Seriously the cutest prints ever!!!!

We signed up for the Monthly Bow box, so we get a collection every month, and they are perfect every month for the season and holidays! Another favorite of mine and Nat's is to stack her bows, and July's box stacks soooooo perfectly!
 Xlarge Grosgrain Ansi Yellow
Medium Firecracker Neon Pink
Large Neon Purple Diamond
Small Tuxedo Neon Green
Large Neon Paisley Print
XL Ansi Yellow + Neon Pink Firecracker + Neon Paisley
XL Ansi Yellow + Neon Paisley
Medium Firecracker + Neon Green Tuxedo
And Nataleigh's favorite from the box because "Sophia would totally wear this one."
Neon Purple Diamond!!

Building on our new bows, Nataleigh is LOVING her new swimsuit!

THIS SWIMSUIT is seriously the cutest thing ever, and it perfectly matches our new bows!!!

My new favorite BREAKFAST
Okay...so this is amazing.
I add a handful or two of the honey roasted granola to the bowl, and then slice a banana on top of it. Then I pour just a little of the strawberry KEFIR to the bananas and granola, and then enjoy. It's a quick, easy, healthy, and yummy breakfast that keeps me full for so long!!

[Anyone else just yell, 'bingo,' because I totally did]
Sticking to the food trend, Broccoli, is my current jam. If you follow me on Instagram {@britthensley}, then you know that I eat roasted broccoli for either lunch or dinner or both every single day, and I cannot stop! I chuckled last night when I grabbed our dinner at Panda Express, and my hubby confirmed my fear that it was me causing the broccoli shortage!
I keep my broccoli simple.
Broccoli florets (trimmed) covered in extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper. Then roasted at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. I like my broccoli super crunchy, similar to chips!

This week's Bible verses of the days!

AMEN, and I say again AMEN!!

These verses ministered to me differently every single day of this week, and I just know that if God has laid them on my heart, then someone out there needs the same encouragement. I want to let you know that I am praying for whatever your situation may be. Turn to Him, and leave it with Him today!

Some non-B favorites from this week would be the posts from earlier!

Check them out, and we hope y'all have a fabulous weekend full of family, fun, and so much rest!

  1. LOVE it! I love all the B's. I hope you have a great weekend with your family!

  2. That swimsuit is SO cute. My oldest daughter is just not wanting to wear bows anymore and it's VERY sad :(. I was in denial for a while. The broccoli thing is a hoot - stop hogging it all ;). xoxo ERIN

    1. Noooo!! I cannot stop broccoli. It's basically everything to me. 😂At least it's a healthy unhealthy addiction right!? Happy Friday!

  3. Dude, very important question: do you say KEE-fer or keh-fir?
    These are the important things.
    I miss y'all!

    1. I think I say Kee-fir, but I'm not sure that's accurate. I know it's delicious, and we miss you terrible!! #coolestbookwormever
