This weekend was so necessary for the Hensley5!
We've been kinda crazy around here lately, so a weekend with very little on the agenda spoke to all of our souls!
Earlier in the week, a precious girl from our previous church in Gastonia, NC texted me to let me know that she would be competing in Pigeon Forge for the weekend, and she wanted to know if I could sneak down there to watch her. I couldn't say no to this sweet darling. Her family means so much to my family, so I loaded the kids up while Joe was working to Pigeon Forge.
Bailey is the beautiful girl in the middle, and these girls danced exceptionally well. We were all so proud of them!
While we were there, we ran into our favorite Faithweavers director from our church in Gastonia. Ms. Sandy holds a very dear spot in our hearts, and Stephen, especially, had a wonderful time hugging and catching up with Ms. Sandy!
We got home in time to bust it to Carson's baseball ceremony!
This boy also got a special award for being a great big brother and best scoreboard operator!!
We had our picnic at the Eastman cabins, and the kids had a BLAST in the creek the entire time!
This was constantly happening, and it was hilarious. Her boots kept filling up, and she kept huffing and puffing every time she had to dump her boots out!
His stats were incredible this year, and he grew so much as a baseball player! I'm one super proud mama, and I cannot wait for next year!
We all literally stayed in bed until about 11:00 in the morning! It was AMAZING!!
We did get up in time for a late breakfast & a big clean up party!
It's officially on Netflix & on repeat!
After cleaning up for a while, we all got cleaned and ready for a family date night!
Love this man!!!
Stephen snapped this picture of my incredibly handsome husband! I'm seriously so proud of his fitness level!
We had a BLAST!
My precious babies!!
Saturday night Nataleigh and I planned on watching the Miss Tennessee pageant together. Joe had offered to let us have a sweet slumber party, and he slept in Nataleigh's princess bed!
Miss Tennessee Tot was so excited to have girl time with mama!
And we are so excited about the new Miss TN, Caty Davis!
Easy like Sunday morning right?!
Nataleigh & I were running a bit late for church, so she's the only one I grabbed a picture of!
We were supposed to head to Knoxville for pageant practice, but it got cancelled. Naps definitely happened, and we had a precious man in our church get ordained as a deacon. They are seriously some of the best people ever, and our church is so blessed to have them! Carson even cried 'tears of joy' during the ordination!
Our weekend was absolutely wonderfully lazy & totally recharging!
Just what we needed!
Happy Monday, y'all!
