What's Up, Wednesday 6.28.2017

Today I'm linking with MelShay, & Sheaffer for their monthly link up!
These are the questions I'll be answering today!

What We're Eating this Week

This week's yummy food is from Hello Fresh once again. I'm seriously in love with these meals, and we've really not been disappointed!
 Chicken under a "brick"
 Pork Luau burgers
Wasabi Lime Salmon

Another every week favorite is brinner! We love us some biscuits, sausage, bacon, eggs, and definitely broccoli. My family would eat brinner every night if I let them!

What I'm Reminiscing About

Beach Trips

Oh we need some saltwater therapy!!!
My little beach bums just love the beach!

What I'm Loving

This most beautiful middle child ever is turning 8 this weekend, and this mama's heart is breaking! He's my sweet sugar, most tender-hearted child who can make me laugh whenever I most need a laugh. He's funny, smart, kind, thoughtful, and all mine!

#OBSESSED with this sweet boy!!

What We've Been Up to

Happily enjoying mama's first week of 'Dead Week,'
We've snuggled, lounged, been completely lazy, and we've not felt an ounce guilty about it. When July 10th hits, our world will be turned upside down, so we are thoroughly enjoying our lazy days while we have them!

What I'm Dreading

Packing & unpacking for our weekend trip!

What I'm Working on

OY VEY!
So very much. Last month, Nataleigh went to Pigeon Forge and won the Overall Tot Title for Tennessee. I shared all about it HERE, and with that win comes a lot of responsibilities.
First up on our agendas is getting this doll ready to compete in Dallas. I wasn't prepared for the enormity of the situation, and I'm so thankful for my support system. We have family and friends left and right helping us fundraise and practice every day. My goal is to have this girl completely ready to rock the stage, so we can enjoy our week in the Big D!

What I'm Excited About

Believe it or not, I'm so excited for volleyball practices to start up. We had just gotten through the first 3 weeks of practice just in time for TSSAA to start their 'Dead Week' period. Our season is short and furious, and we have so much fun planned. I cannot wait to get back in the gym.

I'm also so excited about that little trip to Dallas that we have!
I cannot wait to get to this big city, so any help or tips would be so appreciated!!

What I'm Watching/Reading

Dawson's Creek reruns!!
This was my favorite show as a young teenager, and y'all it's so hilarious watching now as an adult!
And Big Brother starts TONIGHT!!!
Whoop Whoop!
My favorite thing to watch in the summer is back!!

This next reading thing is going to crack y'all up!
I'm having to learn all the rules of the road to get my commercial license, so I can drive the super cool activity bus. I'm internally and externally FREAKING OUT!! The thought of being responsible for a team on a big ole bus terrifies me, but with loads of prayers, hopefully I'll be fine & pass that test!
{My hubby will be leading a candlelight vigil for me, I'm sure!}

What I'm Listening to

Loads of Hillsong Worship!
Always my favorite

This gorgeous song!
Hallelujah

What I'm Wearing

These pajamas always!! They are seriously my absolute favorite still, and Matilda Jane is running a great sale + free shipping!! What are you waiting for?!

What I'm Doing this Weekend

The Hensley 5 are taking a much needed quick little trip to the beach this weekend, and we cannot wait! Friday cannot get here fast enough!

What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month

I mean I think I've shared already everything.
1. Carson's birthday
2. Dallas
3. Volleyball
4. Big Brother

What Else is New

Joe is currently starting his new job, and I couldn't be prouder of him! He's smart, kind, and just the bomb dot com!
This man has BIG plans, and I'm so thankful to be along for the ride!

Bonus question: What's your favorite 4th of July tradition?

Lots of fun, family, and fireworks!

We try to cookout with my grandparents and as many family members as possible. Tons of burgers, hot dogs, chips, and watermelon are eaten, and loads of time outside playing in the ridiculous heat!

    1. I think we are actually in Richardson, but I'm not 100%! She's excited, and we are counting down the days. I've heard Dallas is a city you just don't want to leave! :)
