Here we go, y'all!!
The Dallas recaps begin.
It was quite the adventure getting to Dallas in the first place. As I mentioned YESTERDAY, I got home from Nashville on Sunday @ 2:00 am, and we were Atlanta-bound by 3:00 am! I had just enough time to shower and load everything up before we hit the road. This was also Nataleigh's first time flying ever, and I'm not the most comfortable in a plane to begin with. I was just a touch stressed, to put it mildly. Anyways, we got there just in time to rush through security where I discovered that my Apple Watch wasn't synced to my phone....that means that they weren't near each other, and that's because my phone got left in the car. Thankfully my mom was with us, and she had her phone. I NEVER leave my phone, and honestly I didn't know what to do. It's crazy to think that we are so attached to the phone, but really it was scary traveling to a city that we've never been to without any way to communicate with anyone. Like I said, thank goodness for Nana, or I would have probably had a major breakdown!
Big cheese for little girl!!
She met the pilot, and he let her see where and how they flew the plane!
She loved it!! She asked to fly everywhere, and I just love her sense of adventure!
We got to our hotel in time to change clothes & get this precious girl registered for all her events!
Cutest girl I know!!
Sunday we called it an early night, and while Nana got Nat ready for bed, I checked out the Cameo girl modeling pageant. I cheered for our friends until I was literally about to fall asleep sitting in my chair. The travel adrenaline had officially worn off, and I went to bed early as well.
Monday we got up early for Orientation and to begin the process of getting backstage-interview ready!
This delegation dress was one of my absolute favorites, and I'm desperately searching for it. It's from Vineyard Vines, and it's just the cutest thing ever!
Seriously the best director ever. She's basically the most amazing fairy godmother ever! She made last week successful for all of her girls, and she had 33 gorgeous girls that she made sure looked perfect before every competition! We can never thank Ms. Jill enough!
Precious girl ready!!
cutest contestant number 38 ever!!
ready to go with our Tennessee Woman, Sarah-Anne!!
Fellow Tot contestant Olivia!!
One last picture before I sent her backstage for over an hour.
Y'all it was the longest hour of my life. Just before going back, Nataleigh started crying. She was tired and nervous, and she just needed a few extra loves from mama!!
Next up was a quick trip to the Galleria Mall!
Silly faces, selfies, and sugar were all included!!
This mall was crazy good, and we would totally go back to Dallas just for the mall!!
Then we all had to get back to get ready for the Welcome Banquet!!

This gorgeous girl, Masie, had just won the Cameo Girl pageant the night before!!
Everyone loves Masie!!!
This is Gage. He's one of the emcees, and he's from Tennessee. Nataleigh remembered that Mr. Gage twirled her on stage at State, so instant crush alert!!
More silly faces and selfies while we waited on the banquet to start!!
Table 11 was full of beautiful girls!
The girl in the blue dress, Bryton, won the Overall Teen title this year, and she was so sweet!
We also had Ella Grace with us at our table, and she's just such a beautiful, sweet girl!!
And finally our dinner was served...
While we ate our salad course, this girl ate herself a big ole piece of....
Not just any cake, but the most delicious chocolate cake ever!
That wraps up the first two days in Dallas. This week was full of competition, parties, and friends. I'm so thankful for the friendships that were made. Tomorrow I'm going to share all about days 3 & 4, and those are the Tot Personality & Partywear competition days.
Seriously cute outfits ahead!!!
