Friday Favorites 8.4.2017

Hey Hey, y'all!
It's Fri-yay!!!!!
Yesterday just whooped me, so I'm a little late to finishing and posting today's blog.
Today I'm sharing a couple of my current favorite things, and let's get right into it!

---ONE---

Last week in Dallas each girl had a Secret Cindy Sister, and Nataleigh's got her this adorable shirt!! She's a big Minnie & Mickey fan, and now she's a big fan of this tee. She wants to wear it EVERY DAY!!
Thanks Mackenzie!!

---TWO---

Speaking of Dallas, I've started the recaps of our time in Dallas this week, and organizing all the pictures just puts a big ole smile on my face. We had so much fun with all of our old and new friends.
Next week I'll finish up our last couple of days in Dallas, but if you've missed any....

---THREE---

This girl!!!
Ahhhh..we met my amazing hairdresser/friend for lunch this week because she's moving to Augusta, Georgia!!
{insert super sad face}
I'm so excited for her family and this new adventure, but I'm not going to lie that my locks and I will miss Alex tremendously!!

---FOUR---

Pool Days!!
 Swimsuit: Matilda Jane
Yesterday we all went over to our friends' house for a little fun in the sun, and it was so needed. I hadn't seen Christie since we went to the beach together, and I needed to catch up with her. Also, our kiddos needed their time to play, splash, and just hang out together too.

---FIVE---

Open House
The boys start school back on Monday, and they are so excited about school this year. They just aren't excited about Summer Break ending!
Last night we met the teachers, and we couldn't be happier!

And you know it's a good Open House, when you leave the school with a basket of Matilda Jane to go through! One of my trunk keepers is cleaning her daughter's closet out, so she sent me home so really great stuff! Thanks Brittney!!

---SIX---

These verses this week!

I was talking to several people yesterday that it just feels as though God is turning the page on this current chapter in our family's life, and it's an amazing thing. We have so many personal and family struggles over the last 2 years, and to see God's goodness in every step, even the difficult ones, has been so, so good. I found myself reminded that I need to give thanks to Him, especially in the details! I truly believe He has a reason for every 'no' and every closed door, and it just feels like those better doors are finally opening.
Is there something that you are struggling with? Is there an answer you are wanting right now? My advice is to just trust the process. He has a plan for your life, and His ways & plans are so much better than anything you could think of.

---SEVEN---

This guy!!!
Oh goodness...I am so proud of him!
He passed his final two tests yesterday, and even though I had zero doubts in him, I know he's so excited to be finished with that!
Wahoooo....Here's to his next step!

  1. I can't wait for Wednesday! HA I have no idea what I am doing but I promise to figure it out before Wednesday :) SO excited! So excited for your hubby - wahoo! Our time table is not always God's but I am always in awe of what I learn along the way. Had a REALLY tough conversation with someone yesterday and I know there is purpose in that but nuts life can be hard :) xoxo ERIN

  2. Love the part about waiting on God. Yes sometimes doors that stay closed, are answered prayers.
