What's Up Wednesday 9.27.2017

On the last Wednesday of the month, we join our blogging friends, ShayMel, & Sheaffer for What's Up Wednesday! I love this link-up because it gives us the chance to reflect upon this current month while looking forward to next month.
Here are the questions we will be answering today.

What We're Eating This Week

This roast!!
I'm fixing this in my crock pot tonight because I'm tired of concession stand & fast food. Volleyball season has wrecked our meals, so I'm happily fixing this for dinner!

What I'm Reminiscing About

I shared yesterday all about our birthday shenanigans with our 10-year old!

It was such a good, good weekend!

What I'm Loving

Fall everything.
The food tastes better, & the clothes are just the best!
Salted Caramel Mocha Frappes
 Seriously YUM!
Joe's current favorite yogurt snack!!

What We've Been Up to

Lots & Lots!
Volleyball, pageant appearances, school, and so much...except sleep!

What I'm Dreading

Wrapping up this crazy, adventurous season. The end of every season is so hard. Part of me is so excited about having evenings off, but I always miss those girls that I've spent so much time with the past 3 months. Watching their growth & progress is so rewarding, but I'm ready for a 'day off.'

What I'm Working on

A very special little project with the other coaches leading into the district tournaments this week & next! It's going to be a special time for our girls & their families!!

What I'm Excited About

Sleeping & cooking & being a SAHM again!

It seems totally boring, but I'm ready to put that mom hat back on fully!

What I'm Watching/Reading

I just finished watching Season 4 of the Blacklist on Netflix, and it was seriously crazy good!

What I'm Listening to

We are rocking out some Top 40 right now!
The kids' favorite!
Nataleigh is OBSESSED with T.Swift!!

What I'm Wearing

I'm still happily rocking my favorite shoes...

The Birks!!
We have a couple of weeks left of warm weather before our Fall weather kicks up, and then I'll be happily wearing all the boots and booties!

We've been slowly sneaking out some adorable outfit pieces on Nataleigh, and our new bows are absolute perfection!
 boots: same | dress: same | bow:same
 shirt: same

What I'm Doing This Weekend

JV District tournaments!!
I'm already so proud of my girls, and I'm praying that they put all their hard work together this weekend!

What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month

Prelim season is officially underway!

Vols for Life with our awesome director!!
learning the walk & the wave!
 backstage!

Nataleigh is having an absolute blast with her Cindy sisters & Ms. Jill!
They had their first prelim a couple of weeks ago, and we have another one coming up. If you are interested in getting your daughter or granddaughter involved, please let me know! I've gushed and gushed all about The Cinderella system, and honestly I could go on and on about how great it is.
Join us for a fun time & sparkly headwear!
;)

What Else Is New

We traded in the minivan, and we are loving our Pathfinder!
We decided while car shopping that fuel efficiency is so vital right now for our on-the-go family of 5! This vehicle has everything, and we are loving it so much!

Bonus Question: What TV show are you most looking forward to?!

I know I already mentioned it, but THE BLACKLIST!!
I cannot wait to see what Red & Liz have up their sleeves, and Aram & Samar {insert heart eye emoji}!

  2. I bet you are looking forward to some Mommin' time! I might work outside of the home during the day, but I can only imagine how hard and challenging it would be to work in the evenings and weekends. You coaches pour a lot into those athletes. I remember all of my coaches and how much of a huge impact they all made on my life and I know you are doing the same for your athletes. Enjoy your tournament this weekend and good luck!
