Show & Tell Tuesday: Favorite Holiday

Happy Tuesday y'all!

Today we are joining Andrea for Show & Tell Tuesdays! It's been a little while since I last joined this link-up due to the craziness of life, so I cannot wait to share today!

Today we are joining with our blogging friends to share all about our favorite holiday!

My absolute favorite holiday growing up was always my birthday! February 23 was always my favorite day, and now, as a mama, my kids' birthdays are my favorite days of the year. I love taking a full day & making it all about that one kiddo. We don't normally do big parties, but we always make their days super special for that baby!!
As far as traditional, federal holidays go, I'm all about Christmas. There truly is just a different kind of magic in the air. Christmas also falls during my favorite season of the year. I heart winter so much. I love the snow, the fresh smell of pine trees. It's the most wonderful time of the year.
Another reason that I love the Christmas season oh so much is that there is always so much family time going on, and we have a lot of family. It's so nice to spend that time together with the ones we love so much!!

A few of the more frivolous things I love about Christmas...

The decor...

It just feels cozier than normal, and I love it!!
No decorating though until after Christmas!!

The food...

These and several other recipes are pinned on my holiday board on Pinterest!

The Hallmark movies...
I am a complete sucker for these movies, and I have zero, I mean zero, shame in my Hallmark game!!

No joke..I'm so excited about several of these!!

There's really so much that I love about the entire month of December, and Christmas is just such a special time of the year. We are able to reflect on our year as well as remember all about our precious Savior, who's birth we celebrate during the Christmas season.

May your Christmas season be warm & bright in 2017!!

-Britt!

  1. I agree I love celebrating my kids on their birthdays and I love the whole Christmas season, not necessarily just the day, but the season of expectance and excitement that comes with it! xoxo ERIN
