Life Lately

So...last week, I only blogged once [HERE], and then I got hit by snow days & a cold. This mama was down for the count, and I'm still not feeling 100%, but Mama is pushing through!

Today I'm going to share a little Life Lately with y'all since I was slacking SOOO much last week. We had so many fun little things that I can't wait to share with y'all!

Monday we had some beautiful, gorgeous weather, and we took advantage of it as soon as we got home from picking the boys up.
Practicing all the Odell Beckham Jr. catches all the time!

Then Nataleigh & I headed to her very first soccer practice, and girlfriend couldn't be more excited if she tried!

These two are just the cutest little besties, and I cannot wait to cheer these beauties on this year!
Soccer just wore someone out, and she was asleep before we got home!

Volleyball Spring workouts started last week, and the boys had a day off from school for a teacher's inservice day. They were so excited to head to the gym with me!

While the coaches and I hung out in the office, the boys played a pick-up game with a couple of another coach's boys.
I mean, what else do boys need besides a court & a basketball.
It was just so much fun watching these guys!!

Then the snow rolled in on Wednesday, and the boys were out again from school!
snow bunnies!!
There is just something so wrong about beach pictures popping up on my watch with the words 'snow showers.'
(Not a fan!)

Nataleigh's cheer gym was still open, despite the snow, so we headed there. Now that competition season is officially over for her little squad, we are working on all the basics, and they even started to learn the right way to stunt.
I mean, cutest little cheerleader EVER!!

We headed back to the gym Thursday for Open Gym.

In her backpack, she "needed" crayons, coloring books, and her Hatchimal for her to play with her volleyball friend, Audrey. They are too funny together!

Friday hit this Mama like a ton of bricks. Some kind of awful cold hit me like none other, so I spent the majority of the day in bed, coughing & sneezing. It was so awful!
We did sneak these three precious babies out for fro-yo, and it was just so nice!

Joe took the boys to get haircuts Saturday, and then we did some running around!

{after}
Fresh haircuts are my absolute favorites on these handsome favorites!

While out running errands, we even ran into the Easter Bunny!

Joe then took my grandfather to see his nephew in the hospital. Clay has always been one of my kiddos' favorite people. He's just beyond kind & sweet, and he's been extremely sick for the past several years. He took a pretty bad turn for the worst recently, and we honestly weren't sure how long we would have with him. I'm so thankful that Joe was able to go with my Poppy to see Clay on Saturday, because he passed away in the early hours Sunday. This will be a really tough loss for my grandfather. My grandfather was the one of the youngest in his family, and he had several nieces and nephews who were more like siblings to him. Clay was one of these, and Clay was just someone you cannot forget. Pray for my family as they grieve the loss, especially his brothers, sisters, and children.

Sunday we headed to church, and even though I had no voice whatsoever, I pushed through.

And I just loved this picture of my gorgeous girl so much. She picked her outfit out by herself, so she wanted just one more picture of 'just her.'

We are on Spring Break this week, and y'all, it just hit at the perfect time for us. We need this little break to recharge for that last little push until Summer Break!!

Happy Monday, friends!!
