Weekend Wrap-Up {3//19//2018}

That weekend was beyond needed for the Hensley 5. If you follow this blog at all, then you know that most of our Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are just NON-STOP! This weekend, however, our big plans were cancelled, so we were given the opportunity to relax & play catch-up a little. We even had fun celebrating St. Patty's Day!

It was so, so nice!

Joe took the boys to school, and I did all the laundry!
Three loads to be exact!
Washed, dried, folded, and put away.
(Well the boys put their own clothes up, but ya know)

Then Nataleigh & I got ready & headed to my grandparents' farm to see some family & friends that were visiting!

& someone felt extra sassy in that cute outfit + all that sunshine!

We grabbed the boys, and Nataleigh just cannot get enough of her brothers!
It was my mother-in-law's birthday, so we headed to Target to grab candles & a card, and the kiddos were wanting a slushie super bad!

Happy BABES!
We met my in-laws at our favorite Mexican restaurant & celebrated Mimi!

I had stopped by Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop where I grabbed Mimi her favorite, the chocolate chess pie, and everyone else a chocolate chip pie! (The chocolate chip pie was like cookie dough filling & so good!)
Oh Mimi we love you!

We started Saturday super early. Joe offered to help my Poppy take off some cattle to the stockyard, and the boys just love going with them. We headed up to the farm early, early, so they could get the cattle loaded.

It was supposed to rain all day, but the weather broke. Carson's baseball team had practice, so this mama headed to baseball while Stephen headed with Joe & Poppy. My mom also came over to watch Nataleigh for me.

It was just a busy couple of hours with lots of moving parts, but it was still fun!

From my grandparents' house, Nataleigh & I headed to Sam's Club, and she's officially obsessed with all their pool floats.

By this point of the day, we both realized that we skipped lunch, and we were both a little hangry.
Chick-Fil-A to the rescue!!

Like I said earlier, the weather broke, so the kiddos played outside in all that glorious sunshine!

We even took the car to the car wash...
My kiddos love the car wash so much!!

We then were heart-broken by Tennessee's devastating loss, but what a season!! From picked 13th out of 14 SEC teams to a number 3 seed, I'm one heck of a proud Vol fan!

Showers & getting all the things ready for Sunday morning..
& this cutie was rocking some sponge rollers!!

Early morning cartoons with my girl...
Sundays are for church...

And then half-way through Joe's sermon I realized that someone (Stephen) has completely out-grown his jeans.
The struggle is real, y'all!

We headed to one of our favorite fast food spots for lunch, Taco John's.
give me all the potato oles!!

In true Cinderella style, she lost her shoe, and I had to snap a picture!!

Sundays are also for all the naps!!
my little snuggle bug!

Then we ran to the grocery store while Joe had a meeting & the boys had children's choir!

We ended our night laughing at all the Snapchat fun.

And Carson's little friend from NC called him up, and y'all they are the SWEETEST!!!
I can't even deal with the sweetness. It was completely supervised, and there was just so much giggling! Oh Kylee, we heart you so much, sweet girl!

We hope your Monday is great. We only have 4 days this week, and then we are all about us some Spring Break!

Let's do this!

  1. Now that's a GOOD weekend full of family and fun. That chocolate chip pie sounds amazing! I hope you have a great week ahead Mama!
