What's Up Wednesday [3.28.2018]

Hey Hey!!!
It's time for one of my favorite link-ups of the month. Every month we share together & answer these questions...
Let's get right into it!

What We're Eating This Week

The kiddos are in Asheville this week with Mimi & Popow, so it's just Jojo & me. We enjoyed a quiet date night @ our favorite BBQ restaurant, The Firehouse, {best brisket & house dressing of all time}!

What I'm Reminiscing About

Past Easters

2013

Oh I just love the entire Easter season so much!!

What I'm Loving

The April Box from One Stop Bow Shop!!
You will want this box for your little girl. It's perfect Spring, and it's our absolute favorite box, to date!!

You seriously 'donut' wanna miss grabbing this box for your little girl!!

A couple of other bows we are LOVING..
stacks in mint
small in mint
crystal boutique in coral

What We've Been Up To

Cheerleading
 Soccer
Baseball
March was a really good month. It was a little busy in the beginning, but it really slowed down a lot for us. We are ready to bring on April!

What I'm Dreading

Finishing these last weeks before school gets out for Summer. We've hit the point of the school year where we are all done, but we still have the last nine weeks left.
Bring on Summer Break!!

What I'm Working On

Stephen has two big projects that are due next week. Thankfully we are on Spring Break, so we have the time to do them. He's such a good project kid too. He doesn't really need it to be all extra, so this mama is totally fine helping him!

I'm also busily getting Nataleigh's stuff ready for the big State Pageant in June.
We are busily getting wardrobe & gifts & all the fun stuff ready for June, and she is just getting more excited by the day!

What I'm Excited About

Oh em gee!!
Royal Baby #3
Royal Wedding!!
I cannot wait, and honestly Nataleigh is super excited too. I foresee my girl and me watching the royal wedding, even in the wee hours of the morning!

What I'm Watching/Reading

I just finished watching all 4 of these seasons. It was such a good mix for me as a history & royal houses fan.
Now I'm looking for something else good to watch.
HELP!

What I'm Listening To

Oh this praise song!!
So, so good!!!

What I'm Wearing

I recently snagged some super cute, super comfy Toms wedges, and y'all, I LOVE them! I foresee them being on my feet a lot this Spring & Summer!
Leopard is such a good, fun pattern that really spices up neutrals, and they are beyond comfy!!!

What I'm Doing This Weekend

Hunting eggs & celebrating Passion Week!

What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month

We have Nataleigh's big Kindergarten screening next month, and she is so excited that she has us all excited about it!
She's so ready, but I don't know if I am!!!

What Else is New

Not a whole lot, and that's how we like it!

Bonus Question: Favorite Easter Tradition..

It used to be getting up super early to go to Sunrise Service, but this mama needs her sleep. It also takes a lot longer to get myself & the kiddos ready for church, so the kids and I skip that service.

Since moving back to Tennessee my favorite thing is going to my grandparents' house & celebrating with them. I'm aware how fortunate I am that I have my grandparents completely involved in my kids' lives, so I don't take that for granted. We happily soak up every single second we get with them!!
Easter with Mim & Poppy 2016!

  1. I can't believe the pageant is just around the corner. What a fun time that will be. I am curious what's next for you all after that with pageants! You will have to share! We are ready for spring-like weather and I am jealous you have spring break next week. We are trying to power through to the end of the year. We are ready!

  2. We don't ever make our church's sunrise service either. Little kids and early mornings just don't mix :) My grandparents are still around, too, and the memories my kids get to make with them are priceless!

  3. Britt, I LOVED your month of March! What a fun recap. I love that you and Joe were able to sneak in a date night too. Kindergarten Screening is so exciting but so hard for the Mama's. You should just move out to WA next year I will teach Nataleigh! Hahaha!
