Friday Favorites {5.11.2018}

Oh Friday!!
I'm so happy that you are here!

Today I'm combining two of my favorite posts (Friday Favorites + 10 on the 10th) for one MAJOR post!

Yesterday, May 10th, was just a beyond fun day, and I just cannot wait to share it with y'all!
We kicked our Thursday off early @ Dollywood. If you don't have a clue what Dollywood is, I'm about to blow your mind. Dolly Parton designed a theme park, and it is just magical. It's full of yummy food, wild rides, and more fun than imaginable. Every year our school's 4th graders get to take their big, end-of-the-year trip here, and I'm not sure who was more excited...Stephen or me!
{Seriously, it was me}
Our little group of Stephen's buddies were ready to tackle all the fun!

Oh my little daredevil. This was his first time riding "big rides," and he loved it! He is for sure a thrill seeker, and it was so much fun seeing that ginormous smile & hearing that amazing belly laugh!
 My favorite 4th grader!
 This ride scared the snot out of me. It swung like a pendulum, and my mama heart did not love seeing her baby up there. He, however, had the time of his life!
And basically he was the proudest little fella with his new season pass. We have a couple more trips planned, but this boy cannot get back fast enough!

We had to hurry back to grab Nataleigh & Carson, and then we headed to the last day of volleyball camp. We've been having a little camp for 3rd through 6th graders, every Thursday night, and last night was the last night of the camp.
While the bigger girls practiced, Nataleigh & her little 'volleyball sister,' Audrey, worked out. They were hilarious doing wall push-ups, crunches, and planks. These girls are two of the funniest girls I've ever seen. They make life just beyond fun!
While the girls 'worked out,' Carson & Stephen played all the basketball. These two love life in the gym, and I love watching them!

We ran through Chick-Fil-A before heading home. After all the showers & bedtime routines, I finally sat down!
And snapped a picture with my favorite filter from Snapchat {britthensley}, and then ended my long, wonderful day!

Amid the beautiful chaos that was yesterday, we had a pretty major medical crisis. My dear father-in-law under went extensive triple by-pass surgery yesterday, and it was a doozy. Due to their need for privacy, I just want to ask/beg/plead for any and all prayers that you can give my family. My father-in-law served the church for the majority of his life. His wife, my mother-in-law is just precious. There is one thing about Connie, and that is no one will fight harder for you if you need her. They both, including my husband & sister-in-law, appreciate all the prayers. God is so good, and He is so gracious. The thing about Steve Hensley is that he gets the important things really right. He loves Jesus. He loves his family. And he is just a treasure to us all.

Remember my sweet family this weekend, and remember to not lose what's important in the hustle and bustle of life.

Happy Weekend, friends!
