Well, I'm sort of back at blogging.
Life is still beyond hectic, but it's so, so good!
Since I last shared, (on August 8th) Nataleigh started Kindergarten, and the boys started 3rd & 5th grade. Our head volleyball coach & varsity assistant coaches both had precious baby girls. Volleyball season is always so chaotic [three games a week + a weekend tournament] and it doesn't leave much time for snapping pictures outside of #gymlife. I really just didn't think that you all would want to see all our time in the gym.
We have snuck in some MAJOR fun, and do I have some exciting news to share.
Today I just want to share some of our life lately highlights, and then I hope to share a few more in-depth posts!
So since we've been away...
Nataleigh has been rocking that kindergarten style like none other!
She loves helping pick out her own outfits, and she has the cutest little sense of style!
She also has the cutest bodyguards that walk her in every school morning!
We decided to partner with an amazing church, and we all are growing. The best feeling is that feeling when you know you are exactly where you are supposed to be, with the people who God wants to partner with you through this wild ride of life!
We've taken full advantage of warm, sunny weekend days with pool parties!!
Volleyball season started with a fury, and we've played in 3 tournaments as well as wrapping up the first half of the 2018 season.
Cheerleading started back, and this cutie cannot wait for competition season to kick off with her besties!
We had the sweetest teddy bear picnic with our favorite Kindergarten cutie!
Someone almost got her first concussion, but thankfully it was just a bad bump! We had the sweetest people send us all kinds of help. What I found worked the best & almost instantly removed all the bruising was icing immediately and on and off icing for the first 24 hours. Then we used a combo of Panaway from Young Living and arnica gel from a local all natural store. When she first fell, her entire forehead was bruised, and within a few days the bruising was very minimal and yellow! Kids are tough, and there is none tougher than this little bit!
We headed to one of our favorite churches for Homecoming, where Joe preached it down! He had to have his picture taken with his old picture from the wall of fame!
We've been rocking our orange as football season kicked off! It's going to be a L-O-N-G year for my Vols, but I'm a forever Tennessee girl!
We headed to Dolly Parton's Stampede with our volleyball team, and we won the Bucket Brigade competition!!
Loved our stay at the Wilderness of the Smokies Resort!
And had the best day at Dollywood!
Mama even rode the terrifying Drop Line with her volleyball girls & Stephen!
That boy of mine is fearless & such a thrill-seeker!
Now for our exciting news!
Nataleigh went to Nashville to compete in the Princess division at NAM [National American Miss]!
She captured the title of Tennessee's Princess, and now she is heading to Los Angeles to compete nationally. To say we are overwhelmed would be an understatement! We are overwhelmed, but goodness we are all proud & excited of our little princess!
She is so excited about all the fun planned for Thanksgiving in LA!!
We'll here's a quick (HA) rundown of what life for the Hensleys has looked like! I hope to share more this week, and I'm looking forward to regularly sharing again. I've so missed this little space of mine where I can share about our crazy, little life!
