California Trip Part 3

I've been trying to share all about our big trip to California...

Days 1 & 2

Today I'm going to share a few more days & events that we had going on while Nataleigh was competing at the National American Miss pageant as the Tennessee Princess.

Monday was optionals day for the Princesses, and while Nataleigh didn't compete in the optionals, she went and supported her friends & even made a few new buddies!
 Nat + Bailey
She found her picture on the big Princess board!
Cheering on Mia Bella!!
Sweet Miss Oklahoma!!

She then had state pride rehearsal where she rocked her best orange dress & her sweet piggy tails while learning one of her opening number dances.
Y'all!
These dances were adorable. I still cannot even deal with the cuteness overload of these princesses.
After rehearsal, she ran into 2 of her sister queens, Kaitlyn & Kadence who are both actual sisters, and they are great!

Tuesday was the day that the Princesses went on a Hollywood tour. We opted out of this just because we had heard so many horror stories about buses being lost and not really getting to see too many sites. Instead, we spent our day poolside & relaxing a bit!

Later that night, she had NAM's Sweet 16th birthday party on the patio, and it was so much fun!

Her outfit was totally inspired by Dolly Parton! We tossed on her twirliest dress with pink cowgirl boots, and she boogied all night long!

Wednesday her competitions started with Formal Wear, and she looked like a little doll!
Smooches for Dad before these two hit the stage!
Joe did such a great job escorting Nataleigh. She looked stunning, and gosh, Joe just radiated pride as he watched his gorgeous girl confidently navigate a stage and a runway.
Bailey was so sweet telling Nataleigh how well she did!
 I mean, seriously!
She's a perfect little princess!
 Proud brothers!
Proud escort and princess!
And my people!!
I'm literally obsessed with these people, and the way we support and love each other is precious to me!
She really just wanted to be a cupcake!

Between Wednesday's comps, she had a little break for a PJ party, rehearsal!

And then it was time to get ready for Personal Introduction!

Two pretty in pink girls who just told everyone how awesome they are!

And then we had been keeping a little secret from the babes!
My sister, Gigi, surprised us all by sending Nana to us!

And this boy just cried. All he wanted was his family with him on Thanksgiving. He sobbed. Nana sobbed. I sobbed! He then proceeded to look for Gigi, Mimi, Popow, and everyone! He has the sweetest heart ever.
Nat's outfit summed up our feelings!
Thankful!!

Tomorrow, I'm going to wrap up our California posts! I really just want to bottle up all the feelings and memories from the past week because they are the best ever.

Happy Thursday

-Britt

  1. Oh Britt! This post just radiates happiness, pride (I a good way) and family love. You are such a wonderfully supportive, loving family - and the fact your boys were so proud of their sister is just lovely. SO so adorable when your Mum arrived - I nearly teared up! Nataleigh looked like a little star of course. So fab how the other girls were so supportive of each other. What a fabulous experience for you all to remember! Joanne xx
