The last you saw from us, I shared our latest Bow Box, so it's been a minute since I've shared. We went to California last week for Nataleigh to compete at the National American Miss pageant as the Tennessee representative, and it was just too much to keep up with while there.
We had such a great trip together, and I'm going to go ahead and warn you that I took a ton of pictures!
Before heading to the airport, we stopped halfway there at my in-law's little place on Lake Hartwell, at the South Carolina/Georgia state line. It was the perfect little stop, and we even got to see Mimi before we started out West. Every time we travel for a pageant, I always look for a direct flight to our location, so Atlanta is the closest hub for us in Tennessee. I always live in fear that one of our checked bags won't make it with us, and I figure there is less of a chance with direct flights.
Finally through security & fully loaded down with snacks from our awesome flight attendants. This was Carson's first time on a plane, and it was also the first flight that Stephen could remember. He flew when he was about 10 months old, so both boys were so excited!
These flight trackers made it so much fun to keep up with, and we even got to watch some good movies and live sporting events. The time "flew" by, if you will!
Miss Tennessee's first request was a trip to the pool, and I required a couple of cute pictures first!
My little beauty!!
Sun's out....guns out, right?!
Carson was busy off making all new friends, because that's what he does. I swear, every day there he found a buddy and tossed footballs, baseballs, and basketballs in the pool with them every single day! I love his sweet personality, but it does make it difficult to grab pictures!
Dinner time, but not before snapping pictures in front of the HUGE palm trees at our hotel!
Tomorrow I'm going to start showing all the fun of NAM's National Pageant, but for now, I'm going back to binge-watching the Great British Baking Show on Netflix, because I cannot quit it!
