Weekend Wrap-Up {11.12.18}

Shew!
Life has been crazy, but so exciting.

I didn't blog at all last week, and I'm sorry. I'm going to try to get a little ahead this week, but y'all, we leave for Los Angeles on Friday. There is so, so, so much to do!

This weekend we kicked off with the kids' school having a big celebration of Veteran's Day 2018.
The kids were encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue, and this cutie was so excited!
They sang and celebrated the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I! It's crazy thinking that so long has passed since the Great War!

{The boys also dressed up, but they weren't braving the chilly temperatures for another picture for mom!}
Carson had a big Solar System project due on Friday too, and he was so excited about it. His teacher messaged me later that day to let me know how great he did.

Saturday we kicked off the morning at a life group meeting, and it was the yummiest brunch!
We brought the donuts, but unfortunately one went missing...
Oh! There it is!!

EEK!
These two are two of my favorites!
Maddox is just the sweetest little boy, and his mama is pretty awesome also.
This sassy little thing took some pretty important calls during brunch!

We went to my grandparents' house for the afternoon to watch all the football, and how 'bout them Vols?!
YES!
All the YES. We beat Kentucky. It's been a long road for us Vols this season (well really for the last couple of seasons), but it was a great win. My mom organized a little get-together, with all the soups & yummy desserts, for everyone, and my Poppy had the best day ever! Seriously, he needed Saturday so badly. It was such a great day!
We ended the night at my mom's house finishing up all the alterations & outfits for Nationals.
I mean, how adorable is this little shirt my mom made Nataleigh!?

Sunday was about another incredible day at Grace Meadows.
I just love, love, love our church.
And some little one looked extra cute in her Fall dress.
These handsome boys kept warm by the fire, and I don't blame them one bit! It was cold here in Tennessee yesterday, so we were all bundled up. That fire was perfect yesterday!!
Does anyone else have a struggle getting a picture on Sunday of all their babies?!
"Act like you like each other, please?!"
Is one loving, sweet picture asking just too much of the kids, really?!

Carson keeps us all on our toes when it comes to what he might say, but yesterday he really out did himself...
We grabbed a delicious lunch at Chili's after church!
We devoured this delicious molten cake!

Not gonna lie...
It was incredible!

We swung by my mom's house once more, and she grabbed more donuts.
Clearly Jojo shouldn't wear a black shirt while eating those lemon donuts, huh?!
He looks pretty good in those Science Hill colors though!

We ended a weekend that was full of family, friends, and such incredibly good food just relaxing and preparing for a busy week.
This week will be pretty chaotic for us as we get everything ready for our big trip. We are so thankful for this opportunity, and I've been praying now that God be glorified through my petite princess. Pray for the boys, Joe, Nataleigh, and me while we are away for Thanksgiving!

Happy Monday, Friends!!

Share in the comments some Thanksgiving fun you all have planned!

  2. What a wonerful week-end - always great food, great company and the cutest outfits on your kids. I can't believe how much your temps have plummeted - is that normal in TN? So excited for you all for the weekend - best of luck with all the preps! Joanne xx
