What's Up Wednesday [NOVEMBER]

Shew!
It's been a couple of months since I joined in on this link-up, but honestly, life has been volleyball & pageants lately. There wasn't too much to report.

Today I'm joining ShaySheaffer, and Mel for their fun monthly link-up!
Here are the questions I'll be answering today.

What We're Eating This Week

Monday: Out (we had a busy night)
Tuesday: Chili
Wednesday: Pizza Night @ Church
Thursday: Teriyaki BBQ Pulled Pork, Sweet Potatoes, and Broccoli Rice
Friday: Boneless Wings & Chips

After a week of eating out non-stop, we all are craving simple home-cooked meals.

What I'm Reminiscing About

Last week...

Best little memories ever!
& come back tomorrow and Friday for even more fun California/Thanksgiving posts!

What I'm Loving

I recently discovered hummus, and y'all, I still can't stop it!
I eat it literally daily, and it's just my favorite snack. I know I'm so far behind the times, but this picky eater has a 'healthy' snack she loves.

What We've Been Up To

Since being home from California, we've tried our best to get back to 'normal.' That's included an awesome church service, life group with our church fam bam, and cheering our Stephen on as he represented his class in the Homecoming court.
Sweetest, most handsome 5th grader I know!
Stephen & Sadie looked so cute representing Mrs. Jenkins' class.

One of my very best friends' daughter was also in HOCO, and surprisingly enough, Stephen and Ally also matched.
EEK!
CUTE!!

What I'm Dreading

Finishing I mean, starting my Christmas lists!
#facepalm

What I'm Working On

The question above!!
Send help, people!
What are your must have items on your lists?!

What I'm Excited About

Christmas!!

It's just so magical!!

What I'm Watching/Reading

The Last Kingdom on Netflix!
Oh em gee...this girl is obsessed with British history, and this series is crazy good. What will I do when I have to wait for season 4?! Season 3 just came out on November 19!!
In stark contrast is the Great British Baking Show that I just cannot quit! It is hilarious watching these regular British people bake these incredible goodies!
And finally!!
Can I get a Hallmark loving witness in here?! Nataleigh is even loving watching these awesome movies that somehow have almost the exact same plot & actors, yet they are all equally addictive!

What I'm Listening To

This song on repeat!!

What I'm Wearing

All the layers!!
It's gotten super cold & snowy in Tennessee this week, so we are all bundled up in multiple layers and coats trying not to freeze our booties off!!

What I'm Doing This Weekend

We have basketball, and Joe is preaching at a church outside of Asheville, NC! It's always so exciting visiting different churches, but there is something so special about our home church!

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month

All the Christmas fun!
We always have the best time with our family, and I just cannot wait to see what shenanigans we come up with this year!

What Else Is New

Next month we head back to several doctor appointments, and while we don't know anything new, hopefully we'll start getting answers.

Bonus Question: What is your favorite Elf on the Shelf tip?!

Keep it simple!
My kiddos just love the fact that the elves, Hans, Franz, and Gertie are back. They don't need anything major, because they know how special those three being back are. It's officially the start of the most wonderful time of the year!!

These posts are some of my favorite. They allow me to reflect on some incredible moments of my family's life, and they also provide a way to look forward to what's to come.

What has been your November Peak and Pit?!

My Peak was..
Was this moment!
I am just completely infatuated with my family!
We've come so far, and knowing God isn't finished with our story yet is incredible!!

My Pit was...
Not having all the answers yet, but I know we will have answers!!

Happy Wednesday, y'all!!

-Britt

The images of The Last Kingdom, The Great British Baking Show, and Hallmark's schedule do not belong to me, but I'm happily sharing our awesome they are!

  2. So much fun. I go in hummus phases. I buy it for a while, then forget about it, then buy it again. I am behind on Christmas shopping this year too, thank goodness for online shopping right?
