10 on the 10th {January}

Y'all!

It's Friday Eve, and it's super cold here in Tennessee.
I mentioned our weather is super fickle here, and this week has been especially fickle. We've had 70* and sunny on Monday, and yesterday was chilly and blustery. We even have a few snowflakes in our forecast, and I'm not even going to lie to y'all...we are ready for a Snow Day!!

Today I'm joining my friend Jennifer for 10 on the 10th

Today we are sharing 10 Random Facts about ourselves, and I cannot wait to read all the things that make us who we are!

-one-

I love, love, love Dunkin' Donuts.
I have 'my drink' at my favorite location with my favorite DD manager.
[I always order a medium iced coffee with extra cream and extra liquid sugar]
Recently, however, I've really cute back stopping at Dunkin' because it's so unnecessary. Joe has been fixing extra coffee at home every morning, and I've been making myself a nice cup of hot coffee to enjoy on my way to dropping the kids off at school. I fix mine with a splash of hazelnut creamer.
Do you drink coffee?!

-two-

I love the French language. My senior year of high school, I needed one more elective credit, and I had already finished my Spanish I & Spanish II classes, so I just took French I on a whim. I completely fell in love with it, and now I use Duolingo to stay refreshed!
Sometimes Nataleigh does the lessons with me, and she's getting pretty good at it. It's just the cutest listening to say, "Je m'appelle Nataleigh."

-three-

Grocery shopping and laundry are my favorite chores.

-four-

and it's also my favorite color!

-five-

I love my Vols HUGE, and thankfully my whole family does too!

Seriously if you can ever make it to Knoxville, then you will fall in love with our beautiful campus & incredibly passionate fan base! Our men's basketball team is currently #3 in the nation, and we only have 1 loss...to Kansas, who was #1 at the time. We have also beaten Gonzaga when they were first, so we are hoping for BIG things this season. We, the Vols fanbase, need this kind of season too. Shew! It's been tough to be a Vols Football fan of late, and like always, I totally believe that we are 'rebuilding'...AGAIN!

-six-

I'm crazy competitive...almost always!
I'm not competitive when it comes to bowling or putt-putt.

He's super competitive when it comes to bowling. He even used to play in a league!
I just like going and snapping pictures!

-seven-

I love coaching volleyball, and I really hope Nataleigh loves it as much as I do.
Even though, she's the cutest cheerleader!

-eight-

I love the British Royal family!

EEK!!

I know I'm not alone in my love of the Cambridges and Sussexes, right?! And seriously don't you want to know what the drama behind the castle walls really is?!

-nine-

Mexican food is my jam!!
I've never met a queso that I didn't love!

-ten-

I've never traveled outside of the United States, but there are so many places that I'd love to go..especially in Europe.

This was so fun, and I can't wait to see what everyone else shares!

What is your favorite food?!

Where is the best place you've ever traveled?

Where should I add to my family's bucket list?!

Happy Thursday, y'all!!

-Britt

  6. I took French in high school (and went to Paris/ Loire Valley with my French class!). It was wonderful but I had forgotten so much of it when my middle son asked to learn French and began using Duolingo. Just hearing it as he does his lessons has helped me remember so much.

  8. C'etait une liste tres interesante mon amie! Je pense que ma Francais ici - c'est tres mal - je suis desolee! I must look for that app - desperately need to improve my French - you really have to keep it up to retain it don't you? An app is a great idea. Love the fact you love our royals too - I love the Queen and Duke oF Edinburgh especially - he is so old now, it is frightening, I think I will be in bits when they die! I feel like they 'hold it all together' -not the royal family or country - but old values. He is so funny too - cringily un PC but we in the UK love him and Harry for things like that - not because we think like that or would say things like that but because they aren't prissy, and it is just humourous - makes then human and loveable, with faults like the rest of us - who needs soap operas eh?
