Friday Favorites {January Recap}

Happy Friday, y'all!!

We've had such a chilly week, but a big thaw is in our forecast!

I know I set our word of the year  as "rest," and this month has proven a little difficult to actually rest. We did, however, get slam blasted by the stomach but, and that forced each of us to rest at least one day this month. We'll do better next month, hopefully, with trying to rest.

Today I'm sharing a little rundown of my favorite moments of January 2019.

We kicked the month and the year off celebrating Nataleigh turning 6!
We then enjoyed a quick date night for our anniversary with some yummy sushi and hibachi!
We celebrated 13 years married together, and goodness, it was so sweet!
We played A LOT of basketball!
We went out to celebrate Nat & Joe's birthdays with my family!

I then shared all about our COZY blankets that we LOVE!

I shared 10 random things about myself, including my go-to coffee orders!
We all had a close encounter with the awful stomach bug, but this boy was first up! My kiddos are so extra sweet whenever they are sick. My heart just hates when they get sick! This bug forced us to slow down, even when we were so busy...we literally couldn't go while we were sick!
We had some fun snow days off from school...complete with hot chocolate!
I bowled the night of my life!!

I'll never forget, and I'll never let this handsome hunk forget!

I shared a fun interview with Stephen!
We had Nat's first debut/dress rehearsal night of the year.
 Top Gun Ready!
They "hit zero" and grabbed that Superior ranking at their 1st competition!
Joe preached twice this month at our precious church, and we are so excited about our small group starting back up in February!!
 Mexican food was eaten...a lot!
And Jojo and Carson, his favorite top hand, worked hard on the farm, in super cold weather!

January was a fun month, with loads of events & fun. We are praying that the yucky germs stay in January & the fun follows us into February!

What was your favorite moment for your family in January?
What are you looking forward to February bringing?!
