Share Your...(February)

Eek, eek!!

It's the first Thursday of the month, and my blogging buddies Jennifer & Jenna are hosting their monthly link-up..Share Your 2019!
These are the topics each month, and you should definitely join us!!

This month we are sharing all about our LOVES!!
First up...Joe, Jojo, my boo!!

We've been married now for over 13 years, and we've been together for almost 15 years!
YIKES!!
That is crazy when you type it out.
Joe is just the best guy ever. He's hard-working, handsome, funny...he's the head of our household, and he leads well. He's forgiving & apologetic. He's far from perfect, but he's my best friend. We've been through it all, highs and lows, but goodness, those difficult days have made us, & our marriage, so much stronger & sweeter. I can't wait to see what the next 50 years look like!

These babies!!!
Oh my heart..these kiddos are just the best.
I am obsessed..obsessed with them!

Oh my Stephen!!
What a first baby he is!! He's been a dream of a kid so far (& I get it that I've not hit the dreaded teenage years, but let me gush for now)! I love watching the way his little brain works. He's constantly trying to figure out the most efficient way to do anything, and he LOVES learning anything...even fractions. He loves Jesus, his family, friends, and BASKETBALL. Before he leaves his room, Joe and I get a chuckle, because we almost always hear, "Siri, what was the Lakers' score?" The boy is obsessed with LeBron James (thanks GG)!

Oh cute Carson!
This boy is a daddy's boy through and through, except when he wants a snuggle. He is the best snuggler ever, hands down! The boy has the biggest, most tender heart ever. He is very sensitive, and he knows exactly what anyone in any situation needs...whether it's a hug, a prayer, or a laugh. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten a text, email, or call about something this sweet boy did. He is my hardworking, people-pleasing boy, and his big, brown eyes get him just about anything he wants from anyone!

Nataleigh Hope!
This girl is a firecracker for sure! She is sweet, sassy, and oh so fun! She's 6 going on 16, and she doesn't leave home without an accessory or lip gloss. She's completely wrapped her dad around her pinky, and she's my #bestie for sure. She keeps us on our toes, and goodness, she's the most stubborn little thing ever! She figures out how to have the absolute most fun in any situation, and unless she's sick, she laughing hysterically always.

The thing about us and our life is that it is far from boring. We are almost always busy, and we over-commit always, to the point that we stretch beyond belief. 11 times out of 10, I don't know how we'll do it, but it always gets done. We love big, we're loyal to a fault, and we will fight for each other like crazy. We aren't a perfect or a typical family by any means, and we don't want to be that. We are a living display of God's goodness & grace. Not too long ago we were broken, and I just knew it was beyond repair....But God! He picked up all of our broken pieces. He knit us wonderfully back together, and now all we can do is praise Him for everything. If you or your loved ones are struggling, because y'all, marriage and life aren't easy, let me know how we can pray for you!

Happy Thursday!

-Britt

  3. I love what you said about being God's display of goodness and grace. I have a post coming up next week about something so similar. I think it is so important that our families show the realness of God, not perfection, people need to see grace, mercy and forgiveness in action! I love all the sweet words you said about each of your family members. Thank you so much for linking up today!

    1. Absolutely! I just can't do perfect, and the great thing is that God doesn't expect us to be perfect...just dependent on Him!
