Tuesday Talk {February}

Yesterday I took a much needed day off from blogging. I do have our Weekend Wrap-Up coming at you tomorrow, but today I'm joining Erika & Ashley for a little Tuesday Talk.
This is where we link up and share anything that is on our mind, and today I wanted to share something that is vitally important to the success of my day...

Anyone else out there a major coffee fan?!

We run on lots of coffee at the Hensley house, and we're not upset about it.

I often get asked what is my go-to coffee drink, and I'm pretty much a creature of habit when it comes to ordering food or coffee. I thought today I'd share what I drink from a few of my favorite coffee spots!

Dunkin' Donuts

This may or may not be my number 1 go-to spot for all the coffee you could want. I order the exact same thing every single time. It's so bad that the manager of my favorite DD, Nick, knows my order before I even order, and he even knows my order when Joe goes through the drive-thru. It has been said that I have a problem when it comes to Dunkin', but I believe I have a problem without Dunkin'!
Water for the little cutie, and a medium iced coffee with extra cream and extra liquid sugar for the mama, please!

I don't know why, but my coffee tastes different if I get a different size, which I know makes zero sense! It just does. Extra really sounds crazy, but it's just one additional pump of cream and sugar each.

Iced coffee in the winter...ABSOLUTELY!
It's my favorite coffee ever, and it's my go-to treat.

At Starbucks I prefer a few seasonal drinks, and I don't really have a go-to there. It changes with the seasonal menu, so I don't stop here as often.
Salted Caramel Frappaccino is one of my favorites!
My fellow "coffee" lover prefers a tall vanilla bean frappaccino. She really just like coffee shops, because she feels like a big girl with her own "latte!"
A few of my favorite hot lattes from Starbucks that I order are, of course, the PSL, black & white mochas, and caramel brulee lattes. These are my favorites that they only have seasonally, so Starbucks just isn't as much my jam as DD!

I've recently been enjoying brewing my own coffee at home, but who am I kidding right now?! Jojo brews my coffee every morning, and he's the hottest dang barista ever, in my book!

It's taken me a few weeks to get back on the hot coffee train, but it's so much easier and cost efficient.
We use whatever house blend they have, and we don't have a brand preference. Some of our 'coffee' friends are taken aback by our lack of coffee knowledge, but it is what it is.

Here are my current favorite creamers...
 Of course!!
A friend a few years ago got me started on this one, and I still love it!
And finally, this Italian Sweet Cream creamer is my favorite favorite!!

I always pour a HUGE cup of coffee with a generous splash of creamer before I rush out the door to drop the babies off at school! It's become my favorite little way to start the day.

Are you a coffee drinker?!
Where is your favorite place to grab a coffee drink, and do you have an order that you can't quit?!

Happy Tuesday, y'all!!

  1. You always have the greatest coffee recommendations. I love my coffee too!! And I agree I like different ones at different times of the year. Right now I am still loving the cinnamon shortbread latte!! I had one today. However, my go to coffee all year long is medium McDonald's coffee- 5 cream and 5 splenda! Yummy and simple!

    1. Oh I love me some coffee for sure, and I get so many messages about what I drink that I just thought I should share it!

  2. I have a confession: I don't like coffee.... I do like tea and hot chocolate though! lol I talked a bit about what is on my mind lately:

    1. Oh I love some hot tea, but I'm southern & sweet iced tea is my big time jam!

  3. OOOH creamer - people don't use it here, but it was a big thing in Belgium - so nice to make the coffee nice and thick - watery coffee is just the worst. The favourite coffee is def nutty and smooth - I put about 4 tablespoons in the cafetiere - 4 times as much as I should - but it has to have the 'crema' on the top as the Italians say! J xx

    1. I need to come to Cumbria and visit a tea room with you!!
