Happy Wednesday, y'all!
I mentioned yesterday that I took Monday off, and then I shared my favorite coffee orders yesterday. Today I'm finally getting around to sharing a little about our weekend, and it's going to be a little 'catch all,' because I didn't share anything about our super low-key Valentine's Day!
Valentine's Day we grabbed all the things the kiddos needed for their different class parties & rushed out of the door!
Nataleigh wore the cutest outfit ever, I swear!
She was Little Miss Valentine's for sure!
She was so excited about her Valentine's box, and I'm here to tell y'all that I found this castle kit at Dollar General for $3! I'm stocking up on all the different ones for next year!
My sweet loves!!
A little girl from another class sent Carson a carnation with a 'secret admirer' note in it! We have literally no clue who sent it, but it made his day to get some special attention.
The boys headed to basketball practice, and Nat & I headed to cheer!
It was a typically busy Thursday, but we sprinkled lots of love throughout!
Friday, we rocked it, and we even left a little earlier than normal. A picture was snapped!
She loved her braided hairstyle for the day!
After school we ate an early dinner & then headed to a local high school to watch some semi-final conference play!
Saturdays are for donuts and basketball.
We wrapped up Carson's basketball season, and it was a bittersweet day. He played his precious little heart out, and I'm so proud of him & his team!
Sunday we headed to church, ate lunch with friends, and then watched all the wrestling!
I managed to snap zero pictures on Sunday!
Late on Sunday, Stephen spiked a low-grade fever that lingered a while.
It finally broke on Monday after a few of those cool patches and medicine. He had no other symptoms, but I'm terrified of the flu. I've mentioned before that our school system has already shut down once for so many flu cases. I'm not mentally prepared if the flu does hit!
We grabbed groceries with the Walmart Pick-Up!
And fixed dinner, before enjoying a quiet night at home, letting Stephen recover a little more!
Our weekend had some major rest moments as well as a couple super busy moments. We've been really trying to say "no" a little more, so we can enjoy just relaxing and resting together. It's been so nice, too!
