Hello Monday

Hello Monday!!

Good grief! I shared last week, recapping our weekend, and then allergies & volleyball hit me like a ton of bricks.I'm just saying that I'm living on Claritin & lots of benadryl!

We had such a wonderful Easter weekend!

Our weather was pretty crappy on Friday too, but that didn't keep us indoors!
We swung by on Friday, while the boys were at friends' houses, to enjoy us a blizzard or two from Dairy Queen, and I swear, this child loves to help out with all the change!
Dairy Queen supports the Children's Miracle Network, and we just love knowing that every little penny goes to babies & kids who need help!

We had our small group meeting later that night, and it was so much fun, like always!!
After small group, Brittney & I busted open some high school year books for giggles! We were lucky enough to have been friends in high school, and now we are even better friends, and our kiddos are also friends!
Total God thing!!

The boys spent the night with some friends, and I enjoyed all the Hallmark movies while going to bed!! Do you keep watching these cheesy, lovely movies all year too?!

Nataleigh had cheer placements on Saturday, and she was feeling so confident, y'all!!
 Placements 2018
Placements 2019!!
We just love our Kin!!!

She killed it too!
She ended up doing continuous back walkovers, as well as cartwheels into back walk overs! She's worked so hard, so we've got our fingers crossed!

After cheer we grabbed a few things from Sam's Club for Easter with Nana! This girl is spoiled rotten by Nana, and she loves it!

While we were at cheer and running errands, the boys were watching Stephen play with another team. His friends' team needed an extra player, so he happily stepped in!

And they won another championship!
This kiddo is finding his groove out there. I was majorly impressed with how efficient he was, especially on offense!
We got home & got all the things ready for Easter Sunday!

Sunday morning the babies were so excited to find Easter baskets with goodies!
 Kinder eggs are always fun!
And this girl loves some slime, so these Poopsie Tooties were a major score!
The Easter bunny kept the baskets simple this year, but the kids loved them so much! They each got one bigger surprise (Poopsie Tootie for Nat & Nintendo ecards for the boys), a big chocolate bunny, and a Kinder egg!

We then headed to church!!
Our friend, Joe, snapped the most gorgeous picture of the sun rising at Grace Meadows, and if I haven't said it enough, I love worshipping here for so many reasons!
I mean, stunning right?!

We then snapped a few family pictures!

Anyone else love to laugh at the pictures that aren't just 'perfect!?'
Sun in the eyes, and everyone just praying we can be done with pictures!!
This guy and I had such a good, good Easter weekend!
So often in the hustle and bustle of life, we rarely grab a picture just us two, so this may be my favorite, flaws included that we snapped!!

We spent all day Sunday with family, and it was soo good!
Instead of cooking this year, we ordered catering from Olive Garden, and it was divine! My mom planned everything, and it was so good!
Way to go, Nana!

Our weekend was busy, but slow at times! It was so nice to spend as much quality time together as possible. I just am so thankful to do life with the people I have!

Happy Monday, friends!

  1. What a wonderful idea to have Olive Garden catering! Love the family photos.

  2. I had to laugh at your squinty pics...we had the perfect pic on our first try except for one who is apparently allergic to the sun ha! Isn't it nice to take a break from cooking on some holidays? Everyone is able to enjoy each other so much more. Have a great week!

    1. Yes!! Those imperfect pictures are my favorites, even if I am the one messing it up! This year was great because there was no cooking and cleaning for anyone really!! Paper plates & plastic utensils made life so easy!

  3. I had to smile at all the wonderful pictures. We miss you guys so much. Thank you for doing this blog, the kids are getting so big. Yes I also watch Hallmark movies anytime I can, so e them. Medena

    1. Oh we miss you all so much!! It's sometimes just so weird not being in NC!

  4. What a beautiful Easter sunrise photo! Getting catering for a holiday meal is such a great idea. Thanks for linking up with Hello Monday! Tanya - The Other Side of the Road

  5. Love, love, love that picture of your family on Easter! So sweet. Sorry your allergies are getting to you! I'm glad volleyball is done..So much more free time now! LOL (not to rub it in) Have a great week!

    1. EEK! I'm so jealous. Our men's volleyball league ends May 2nd, and our girls try-out June 3rd. We have workouts & open gyms 3 days a week through May, so no off-season!! It's fun though..for the most part!
